Serenoa repens — 380 mg

KOTVA is used in case of functional disorders of urodynamic associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative, and anti-androgenic effect. The mechanism of anti-inflammatory and anti-exudative action is associated with inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, which leads to a decrease in permeability of the walls of blood vessels and edema cancer. The mechanism of anti-androgenic action may be due to inhibition of 5-alpha-reductase.

Serenoa repens extract stops induced growth of prostate cells. Biologically active components of the extract of Serenoa repens have a tonic effect on male reproductive function; relieve swelling and inflammation of the prostate gland which are permanently associated with prostatic hyperplasia.
The combination of pathogenic and non-specific mechanisms of action of extract of Serenoa repens makes it possible quickly and reliably to improve the urodynamics performance and the status of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Indications:

• The prevention and complex therapy of benign prostatic hyperplasia on stages 1 and II;
• Functional disorders of urination due to benign prostatic hyperplasia on stages I and II.

Dosage: 1 capsule, 1–2 times a day.

The treatment should last 30 days or longer. The treatment should be repeated.
