Pharmacological group: Beta-adrenergic blocking agents
Pharmacological action: Antiglaucomic. Blocks beta 1- adrenoreceptors. Decreases production of intraocular fluid, lowers internal eye pressure (high and normal).
Indications: Chronical open-angle glaucoma, eye hypertension (as monotherapy or in combination with other preparations).
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation, sinus bradycardia, AV block of II–III degree, cardiogenic shock, severe heart failure in history.

Application and dosage: Conjunctival, 1–2 drops 2 times daily in the affected eye (controlling internal eye pressure).
Precautionary measures: With care should be prescribed to patients with diabetes, thyrotoxicosis, pheochromocytoma, Raynaud's syndrome, myasthenia, on the background of adrenergic psychotropics.
Use should be gradually discontinued 48 hours prior to surgical interference with general anesthesia.
